I co-authored Partnering for Social Change: Collaborating with Clients and Communities with Ann Webb Price. It was published in the NDE issue - Independent Evaluation Consulting: Approaches and Practices from a Growing Field (Winter 2019).
I am hard at work with my co-editors, Dr. Ann Webb Price from Community Evaluation Solutions and Dr. Kyrah Brown from the University of Texas at Arlington editing this issue on Evaluating Coalitions and Collaboratives. We have a number of distinguished authors who have also been working hard to contribute chapters and are very excited about what we have seen so far.
Starting January 31, 2018 I will be the new Editor of The Community Psychologist, a Society for Community Research and Action publication. I am very excited to take on these duties with my Associate Editor, Dominique Thomas.
In June, 2017 I was honored to receive the John Kalafat Award in Applied Community Psychology. John Kalafat's life work integrated the principles and research of community psychology with their practical applications. This award is presented to individuals who exemplify John's unique characteristics as mentor, teacher, and advocate, and his passion in making the benefits of community psychology accessible to all.
Ann Webb Price of Community Evaluation Solutions and I have teamed up to write this book. Stay tuned for more news about the release date!
June 2020 - I am heading Down Under to the International Conference for Community Psychology in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia!
At this conference I will be presenting a pre-conference workshop on Building and Evaluating Inclusive Community Coalitions for Equity and Justice, on a panel about getting your work published with several other editors, and doing a presentation, Encountering and Confronting Colonizers: One Community Psychology Practitioner's Experience.
June 2020 - Canadian Evaluation Society 2020 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
I will be presenting a pre-conference workshop on Evaluating Coalitions and Community Coalitions and doing a regular presentation on Utilizing Evaluation Findings and Other Data with Community Collaboratives and Community-Based Organizations with Ann Webb Price from Community Evaluation Solutions.

I presented in three sessions at this annual American Evaluation Association conference. They were: Identifying and Adapting Existing Tools and Methods with June Lee and Renee Bougard as part of a panel on Multi-Site and Multi-Level Evaluation of the NNLM All of Us National Program; Networking, Organizing, and Time Management as part of Meet the Pros: Intermediate Consulting Skills Fair; and on an invited panel on AEA Leadership Pathways.

The title of this speech was Building Effective Partnerships and Collaborations for School Nurses.
June 2019 - Society for Community Research and Action Biennial Conference Presentations in Chicago, IL
I presented at the Society for Community Research and Action Biennial Conference. My presentations were: Sharing Our Work: Exploring the SCRA Publication Outlets as Venues for Dissemination (with other SCRA editors); Empower Yourself to a Career that Fits YOU: Considering a Practice Career with Gloria Levin; and Pathways to Compassion and Civility in Community Engagement Work with Carlos Luis, Emma Olgley-Oliver, Tom Wolff, Ramy Barhouche, and Olya Glantsman. I also presented a six-hour pre-conference workshop on Evaluating Coalitions and Collaboratives.

Once again I teamed up with Ann Webb Price from Community Evaluation Solutions to present a 3-hour workshop on Evaluating Coalitions and Collaboratives. The AEA Summer Institute was held in Atlanta, Georgia on June 9th to 12th.
November 2018 - Evaluating Collaboratives and Coalitions Workshop for SMU's CORE in Dallas, TX
I presented a custom workshop, Evaluating Collaboratives and Coalitions for the Center on Research and Evaluation, Simmons School of Education and Human Development at Southern Methodist University. This six-hour interactive workshop covered everything from coalition frameworks and dynamics to best practices for evaluating coalitions and collaboratives.

I presented three sessions at the American Evaluation Association conference. In addition to finally having a chance to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, I had the opportunity to network with other evaluators and pick up new skills and knowledge.
